Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Whisk & Paddle is the perfect chill out spot for friends and families. Designated with a generous amount of space, lay back to the serenity of Punggol Reservoir while enjoying privacy at each table as they are reasonably spaced apart. It's like you're in your own world wherever you're seated. There have been speculations about how warm the place is in the day and all, am not too sure about that but the night atmosphere was cool and soothing.

After a hectic week at work, being at Whisk & Paddle with good company and good food really complemented the experience. Along with the cool night breeze, heading there for dinner made us feel recharged on a Friday night and i'd definitely be back again.

Although i've heard about how inaccessible @Punggol is, i found it wasn't really that bad. Maybe because i wasn't in a rush for time and the weather was cool with slight drizzles, had a rather therapeutic walk towards this new area. Nearest LRT Station was Riveria and it took me approximately 7 minutes to reach the area.

Settled down while waiting for my dinner dates, managed to capture some shots of the place and studied the menu a little.

After reading reviews after reviews before our trip here, it came to my realisation that Whisk & Paddle actually has quite a good range of food. Initially thought all they had was Eggs Benedict, Mac & Cheese and desserts, but nope i was wrong. Their menu ranged from all-day breakfast, to Mains like Sea Bass, BBQ Pulled Pork with Soft Tacos, to Pasta & Pizzas, to Bar Bites and a decent drink menu as well.

Mango Peach Smoothie ($7.90)

Homemade Iced Lychee Tea ($6.90)

Thick cut fries with Truffle Mayo ($10.80), a little over priced for a bucket of fries and mayo. Truffle taste was not strong, if the menu did not state i would not have guessed it was truffle either.

Was considering on having the Eggs Benedict on Waffle for my main due to the many reviews i've read, however as my stomach did not call for waffles that evening, i tried requesting for Eggs Benedict on French Toast instead which was rejected and i did not pursue it further. Hence, settling for Bacon French Toast with Sunny Side Up ($10) was the BEST choice i've ever made.

Gosh, their French Toast was to die for! Probably the BEST i've ever had so far. Not too greasy (already a thumbs up), with its chewy yet fluffy texture on-point. I requested to have additional maple syrup on the side (i mean, what is french toast without syrup) and i would definitely recommend you to have syrup as this dish does not come with any sauce. May be a little dry if you had it without.

Next up was Eggs Benedict on Waffle with Sautéed Mushrooms ($10.80). Personally felt the taste was rather blend, would not recommend it unless you're a huge fan of waffles.

Macaroni & Cheese ($12.80), creamy cheesy gooey goodness. Recommended if you're a cheese lover and love creamy dishes like Cabonaras.

Last but not least, DESSERT! (which we did not have cause we were all too full). It's nice knowing Whisk & Paddle does not use preservatives in their cakes and also minimal colouring as well. Makes us customers feel a tad bit better about consuming these sinful snacks aye? Haha!
