Scratching your heads on what to have for breakfast this weekend?

Head on down to the Hainanese Village Centre (Lorong Ah Soo Food Centre) located at Blk 105 Hougang Avenue 1! Unfortunately due to tight schedules, we only managed to queue at 2 different stalls. & yes, it is THE 2 worth recommending.

PUNGGOL NOODLES!
Understand from most bloggers that this stall went missing for a period of time when the former location was under renovation (not too sure about that), all i know is ... they are back! Serving up their signature bak chor mee, mee pok and what not!

5 stars for the springy noodles, bouncy meatballs and tantalising braised mushrooms. Mmmdapz!

& for myself who prefers breakfast (or any other meal in this case) to be on the sweet side, i decided to settle for Min Jiang Kueh aka 面煎糕 and it comes in 5 different flavours (Peanut, Cheese, Coconut, Red Bean, Chocolate) ranging from $0.90 to $1.30 depending on the ingredients you choose. Just look at the generosity with ingredients!

Am not too sure about you, but have been searching high and low for Min Jiang Kuehs that are crispy/thin-crusted. Thankfully #mamaburp #papaburp found one nearby our place! Comfort food at convenience :)
