The Knolls @ Capella Singapore

Capella Singapore, a hotel and resort ensuring that your vacation on Sentosa Island is like none other. Indeed, the services rendered never fail to complement our stay right from the point our car journeys up their private drive way which leads us to the porch where the lobby stands.

In conjunction with Papaburp's birthday this year, the SlurpMunchBurp team along with our little companion had the honour of being guests to Capella Singapore's 2-bedroom Villa, encompassing a private pool, which was amazing. The experience left us all in awe and hoping to extend our stay, but unfortunately the next day was a working day for us all.

Although Capella Singapore is a good 10-15 minute walk away from Resorts World Sentosa where most of the dining and entertainment options are, buggies are available to ferry guests within the hotel vicinity. Otherwise, do be prepared to do a bit of walking if you're heading to the main lobby or out of the residence. As for us, we prefer to spend the limited time we have in the villa with each other's company until the sun sets.

The next morning, we started our day in luxury at Capella's international buffet breakfast in The Knolls for $48++ per pax. Apologies for the lack of photographs as i had my eyes on the pastry section and their breakfast menu. Nonetheless, you can look towards a counter for noodles (we had wanton mee), DIY Taiwanese Porridge with condiments such as pickled vegetables, DIY Nasi Lemak, a range of appetisers, a stand just for their range of breads and cheese! Believe me, i was already full just staring at them.

In Capella Singapore, there are NO rules. A little hard to believe, but it is true. Capella makes it a point to ensure guests enjoy their stay to the fullest without restrictions, to a point that even pets are allowed into the residence. Of course, there are bound to be certain rules under Singapore's ministry which the hotel has to adhere to. Other than that, i believe Capella would be more than willing to adhere to your every request.

Hence ... back to the topic on breakfast ... i had an Egg White Omelette to start off my engine! Here are more items which are available upon order as part of the buffet:

Eggs Benedict served with Hollandaise Sauce.

Waffles served with Berries, Fresh Cream and Maple Syrup.

French Toast served with Honey.

Pancakes, fluff on-point although it was a little heavy. Sounds ironic but it is true, perhaps because of the size, but it was good nonetheless and we had 2 servings.
