"On a Ghost Riders' mission in search of Justice, but we can't fly so ..." - Tsy.

The hint my boy gave the day before we set off for another pit stop to a cafe. My first guess was Wheeler's yard (riders-wheels, see the link), but it was not. It was a epic conversation figuring where he was gonna bring me to, couldn't figure the 'flying' part out until the day itself though.

Can't be more thankful for a beautiful weather (threatening yet sunny) and of course 'Xiao Bai' for allowing us to reach our destination/s safely).

Have been warned about how Riders Cafe do not have air-conditioning (Advice: Try to be there in the morning if you detest humidity), but the abundant greenery and countless fans around made it cool.

We made our trip down in the noon as planned. I guess we were lucky once again to miss the crowd, enhancing the environment and ambience of the place. It was really relaxing i must say. :> Unfortunately missed their breakfast menu which ended at 11am sharp.

I'll defnitely be back to try their breakfast though, have been hearing many sing praises of it. So if you happen to be there in the morning before i make a second trip, do try their Blackstone Benedict (Bacon, Tomatoes, Poached Eggs, & Hollandaise on Sourdough) and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes!

As a result, we had a battle within ourselves on their menu but eventually settled with a Riders' Burger + Watermelon, Raw Snapper Salad.

Oh hell it was good! Ordered the burger medium-rare and it was done oh-so well (not many can dish out a beef patty to the desired done-ness), simply accompanied with seasoned fries. A MUST TRY.

As for the Watermelon Raw Snapper Salad, i found that the ingredients (watermelon, raw snapper, edamame, avocado and feta) were perfectly paired. Sweet, yet a little tangy from the dressing and a tad bit of saltiness from the edamame and feta. So if you're on a light diet, i think you'll love this! :>

& the moment i've been waiting for ...

SALTED CARAMEL BRIOCHE.
(OH MY LIFE). Our eyes lit up once it was set on our table. Unprepared, i took a huge bite of brioche and i melted on my seat with spasm. It was SO SWEET that my toes were crying sugar (pretty sure they were). The vanilla ice cream was alright when taken solitary, but it did a splendid job of soothing the sweetness of the sauce. Nevertheless, this dessert was an addiction. Couldn't help but to constantly spoon them into our mouths while tripling it with gulps of water.

Was looking forward to the Death by Chocolate Cake though. They were out of stock that day but heard it would've been a handful as well.
(All the best guys, be prepared!)

With our satisfied stomachs, we had a stroll around the area and did some shooting at asian level. :>

Made a detour to The Grandstand where Pasarbella (my alternative favourite hangout spot) as we were early for our next appointment at AMPED! Trampoline Park.

Booked a timeslot with the outlet at Jurong since we were in the vicinity, but i heard the one at Tanjong Katong is more established.

Still, we had a flyin' good time at Singapore's FIRST indoor trampoline park! It felt like i was a kid all over again. From disclaimers, a good 10 minute jump is equivalent to a 30 minute run. I don't exactly know how far is that true, but it was a good workout indeed.

It costs $13 per person for an hour. Do bring your own socks if not it would be an additional $3 into that bill. Then again, i would recommend their socks (especially for children) as it has a rubberized based to prevent slipping. Oh, and prevent wearing skin-tight jeans/berms. You guys wouldn't want to know what would happen. HAHA.

Till next time~
