I'm starting to wonder if i'm unknowingly going through a difficult phase, having much difficulties controlling my diet these two days (ever since i placed 1 truffle fry into my mouth last night), i just wouldn't stop binging. Need some altering back before i see myself rolling around to get going.
Speaking of which, yes i had another cafe hop last night, but this time it's with my 'Girlfriend'. Can't find a better way to spend a belated Easter than with an Egg! Finally got the chance to get each other out and stick to our cafe-hopping plans.

The best part about Lola's, it's located just minutes away from Kovan MRT. I'm rather amazed and thrilled by how Kovan is developing from the ghost town they used to be. Shops have been coming and going but somehow it still remains the same (if you get what i mean). Gotta admit i miss that vicinity, who wouldn't after spending more than half your life in the area.
Once again, had a tough fight with myself (as usual) whilst looking at their menu. Felt a little guilty from the amount of ice cream/snacks i had at work that day so i thought i'd settled for something 'cleaner', but just when i made up my mind, i gave in to Egg's indecisiveness. The truffle fries just looked so good on the menu and since i rarely get the chance to hang out with that girl, i decided to screw my diet that night.
Settled for their Balsamic Grilled Chicken Salad while Eggy went for their Lemon Meringue Tart and Truffle Fries.

She seem to enjoy it quite abit, but on my side i wasn't really a fan of it. The tart was a little too much on the sweet side. However, the truffle fries was gooooooood~ Really enjoyed it, didn't want and couldn't stop at one.
Apart from these, i heard their Bangers and Mash along with their Duck Leg on Mashed Potatoes aint bad as well. If you're on a free diet, go ahead and try 'em!
Afterwhich, got dragged over to Superbowl to have a go at arcade games which i oh-so hate. There's a reason why i don't have any game apps on my phone and neither will you see me playing games on any devices, cause i oh-so suck at them. Then again, had a great time there before walking back where we met my boy for dessert at Ice Edge Cafe.

If there's one thing to boast about Ice Edge cafe, it would be their plating. Rather interesting way to have their logo decorated on ever dessert they serve (well, almost). Had a go at their Brownie along with Rum & Raisin gelato as well as Belgian Dark Chocolate. One try, never again. Should've gone for their signature waffles instead cause the brownies were too much for me to handle. Too chocolatey that i felt sick and almost sworn to never have desserts for awhile. As for their gelato, i'd still pick Udders any time. This cost us about $14.30 if my memory didn't fail me.
