An event this #JubileeWeekend you wouldn't want to miss! Located at Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade (right beside Marina Bay Sands Shoppes), join these families as they celebrate by the bay with home-cooked meals. Activities such as cooking demonstrations and beads making are also available on-site.

They're down to the last 2 days of the event, so be sure you don't miss it!

Here are some of the food items we managed to try. Unfortunately, a few of them were running out so be sure you're there early to reap the best out of your trip!

Joy's Ondeh Ondeh Ice-Cream by Swensens ($4)

A local caramel flavored ice-cream with coconut, something which caught our attention when we first stepped in. What do we say? PLEASE TRY IT! 

Mango Cheese Tofu ($4) 

Unless you have an extra appetite, you're not missing anything. 

Cha Hoon ($6)

A texture similar to Shihlin's Oyster Mee Sua, but a little bland to taste. The older generation seemed to appreciate it more than the younger few (hehe).

Ayam Masak Merah ($6).

Chicken with spicy tomato sauce, a decent staple meal. If you're starving, it'd be best to give this fragrant tasty lunch box a shot.

Dhokla ($4)

Steamed rice cake served with green chutney. Really strong spice taste, found their green chutney a hit but the steamed rice cake was a little unique in a way we did not know how to enjoy it.

Roti Prata ($4)

Unfortunately, by the time we had it the Roti Prata was a little cold and really hard (though i still enjoyed it pretty much). Should have dug in on the spot.

Grandpa's Po-Co Rice ($4)

If my memory did not fail me, it was something along the line of stir fry pork with coconut rice. It was alright, nothing fancy but a rather unique idea!

PS. If you're at #SGEatWithUs and have a whole day to spare, you may want to consider making a tour around Marina Bay on foot and admire the scenery around you. With the patriotic sights and sounds, it'll bound to get you into the mood of celebrations!
